PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

There are many paths to personal development. At Adamas, we focus on awareness through both spiritual and physical practices in a variety of ways.

Awareness is the key to personal development. No matter which activity you participate in at Adamas, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect and gain a deeper understanding of yourself at the same time. This can be through dance, music, art, meditation, yoga, tantra, grief work, shamanic drum journeys, dream interpretation, silence, healing, Ayurveda, and all sorts of other practices.

A group of people are sitting in a circle on the floor in a bright room with large windows; some have their eyes closed and appear to be participating in a yoga or meditation session.

ADAMAS is a program for those who wish to connect with their spiritual side through insight, creativity, and spirituality.

We draw on the eight spiritual principles: love, honesty, presence, humility, forgiveness, courage, trust, and renewal. We focus on the spirituality of the new age, with an awareness of the Anima and Animus—the balance between the masculine and feminine energies and qualities that all people possess.

We start where you are—and from there, we offer honest and loving support. Together, we create space for reflection and tranquility. Here in the nature of Langeland, there’s room to play. To reconnect with your inner child. To explore yourself through your encounter with nature. We want to contribute to a mindful world that is also open to renewal and creativity.

Spirituality

In the spiritual school, consciousness creates reality in the name of equality.

Nature

Nature is a part of all of us. We are a part of nature. Nature surrounds us at the Adamas Center, where the forest edge begins right in the garden and the forest animals roam the grounds.

Creativity

Creativity and spirituality are closely linked. We offer a variety of retreats that combine these two elements.

Yoga

Yoga is balance—both inner and outer. Originally, yoga was purely meditation. The Tantrics developed the physical postures and created a balance between the physical and the mental. We offer a variety of yoga retreats.

Meditation

Meditation is a technique that has been developed over hundreds of years as a practice in patience, perseverance, kindness, and mindfulness.

Tantra

Tantra means consciousness. At Adamas, we also work with tantric energy as a tool for process work.

Healing

Healing helps wounds heal—whether they are physical or emotional. Healing can have a calming effect, but it can also bring turmoil from the deeper layers of consciousness up to the surface, giving you the opportunity to work through it. Most activities at Adamas incorporate healing in various ways.
