Banya Master and Gus Facilitator

In the sauna, Mia Ben-Ami invites you into the sensory universe of the banya tradition, where heat, water, and wild herbs come together in a present and holistic experience.

Mia is a certified Banya Master from the Banya World Association and has qualified for the European Championship in Prague in April 2026. With roots in Slavic bathing culture and a Nordic connection to nature, she works intuitively with heat, steam, and infusions of wild herbs, which she forages herself around Tranekaer Center.

Each gus (sauna ritual) is shaped in the encounter with the space and the group. An invitation to let go, open the senses, and be carried by the scent, steam, and the gentle rhythm of the whisks.

Tina Kjær is a floral artist and instructor based in Svendborg, where she runs the atmospheric floral workshop Ellas Minde. In the old merchant's shop, she creates seasonal floral arrangements with a unique sense of aesthetics, contemplation, and the poetry of nature. Her style is romantic and vibrant, using flowers as a storytelling medium. Tina communicates with great calm and presence, and her workshops invite participants into a creative space where both hands and heart are engaged. She is also an ambassador for Floral Fundamentals and has, over the years, inspired florists and flower enthusiasts both in Denmark and internationally.

I grew up surrounded by a lot of nature and many animals, which led me to form a connection with them from childhood. At the same time, I have always been interested in the connections within nature.

Simona Abdallah is a Palestinian-Danish percussionist who has broken traditions and carved out her own unique place in the music world. From an early age, Simona mastered the darbuka drum, despite traditional norms in her cultural background. Her dynamic and powerful performances have led her to collaborations with renowned artists and orchestras, including the Middle East Peace Orchestra and Natacha Atlas, as well as opening for legends such as Cheb Khaled and Sort Sol. Simona brings not only rhythms but also deep passion and energy to each performance, making her shows unforgettable.
