Festivals
When you help out for around 15 hours, you can buy your festival ticket for half price.
Practical Information
All volunteers arrive at 12:00 on the day before the festival opens. Some help prepare the area, and everyone gathers at 17:00 for a pleasant evening together, providing a good start to the community before everything kicks off.
All volunteers gather daily during the festival for a morning information meeting.
Some volunteers help with packing down on the last day after the festival.
We do our best to accommodate your task preferences as much as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that you will get exactly the areas you prefer.
Similarly, we try to assign your tasks so that you assist in a single area throughout the days, to make it manageable.
Our goal is to create a good atmosphere together, be flexible, and look after each other – while also acknowledging that things can get busy and fast-paced. Therefore, it's important that you are willing to take on tasks and put in effort.
As a volunteer
You will need WhatsApp, as communication takes place in a shared thread for all volunteers.
You will check the thread at least once daily during the festival, so we can contact you if an extra hand is needed for a task. Most tasks are assigned at the morning meeting, but there is also plenty of opportunity to put away your phone and be present in the moment.
You are prepared to be flexible and support the overall community.
You are responsible for taking your own breaks to ensure you have energy for everything. It is your responsibility to manage your time and look after yourself.
You will contribute your time and energy to help us create the festival.
As part of the community, you will receive:
Access to the festival during periods when you are not on duty
The opportunity to be close to facilitators, participants, and the processes
Courses & Retreats
For courses and retreats, the arrangements are different. Here, you typically help in the kitchen with tidying up and washing dishes after meals.
If volunteering is an option, it will be indicated on the individual course page, along with information about the reduced ticket price.
