Application Course in Core Awareness® with Liz Koch
A somatic journey into the deepest layers of the nervous system
This intensive retreat with Liz Koch invites you to a transformative encounter with the body's inner landscapes. Through five days of deep immersion, the course opens up a deeper connection with the psoas muscle – not as a structure to be “stretched” or “strengthened,” but as a sensing, living part of your being.
In Liz Koch's work, the psoas is considered a bridge between instinct, emotion, and consciousness – a channel through which life energy moves and where ancient wisdom can be heard. When we create space for this intelligence, we simultaneously open ourselves to encountering ourselves with greater authenticity, spaciousness, and presence.
This course is based on the principles of Core Awareness® and takes you on a sensory journey where curiosity and openness are key. Through gentle movements, relaxation and mindful presence, you will find an opportunity to regenerate both your nervous system and tissues.
Liz Koch works with the body as a self-organising whole – an organism that doesn't need to be "fixed", but simply listened to. This approach invites you to let go of habitual ideas about the body and movement, and instead surrender to what emerges from within.
This retreat is for practitioners, facilitators, therapists, and anyone who wishes to bring a more somatic and relational approach into their life and practice.
In a safe and supportive environment, space is created for you to meet what is stirring – both in your body and in your life – and to allow it to unfold at its own pace.
THE FACILITATOR
Liz Koch is internationally recognised for her groundbreaking work with the psoas muscle and as the founder of Core Awareness®. With over 45 years of experience as a facilitator and author, she has inspired thousands of people worldwide to encounter the body as a living intelligence.
She is the author of several books, including The Psoas Book, Stalking Wild Psoas and Core Awareness, all of which present a deep and respectful approach to the body's inner organisation. Liz combines knowledge of anatomy, embryology, somatics and neurobiology with a poetic and intuitive understanding of the body as a portal for transformation.
This retreat is a rare opportunity to work with Liz Koch in Denmark and be inspired by her lifelong commitment to the somatic field.
