ART at Easter

ART

during Easter

In collaboration with Gallerie Rasmus

Welcome to an atmospheric art exhibition on Langeland.

Together with Gallerie Rasmus, we are presenting a curated selection of artists such as Morten Ramsland, Alfio Bonanno, and several others—complemented by works by Inge Delfs, Stine Læntver, Arne Johnsen, and Adam Mads Heindorf.

The exhibition unfolds in the raw and atmospheric setting of the Sugar Factory at the Tranekaer Center, where you can wander among paintings, granite sculptures, ceramic pieces, and handmade soul jewelry.

A day with time for reflection, inspiration, and mindfulness.

Throughout the day, Inge Delfs will be hosting an open drawing table, where paper and pencils will be provided. Here, you can sit down and draw for a while—a small, active workshop right in the middle of the exhibition, open to both children and adults who want to get creative.

Opening Hours Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Opening Reception and Guided Tour from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Artist Talk with Morten Ramsland 4:00–5:00 p.m.

The Artists

We are proud to present this year’s talented artists, whose works will adorn our premises.

The works on display are for sale.

Morten Ramsland

, Author and Visual Artist Morten Ramsland is an author and visual artist with an imaginative and expressive artistic universe. Many know him from novels such as *Hundehoved* and *Sumobrødre*, in which the grotesque, the humorous, and the vulnerable are interwoven. In his paintings, these same narrative forces unfold through color and organic forms. Using acrylic as his preferred medium, he works intuitively and physically—as a living movement around the canvas.

Alfio Bonanno

Land Art and visual artist

Alfio Bonanno is a Sicilian-born land art artist, photographer, and visual artist living on Langeland. He is internationally recognized for his site-specific nature installations and is considered a pioneer in experimental art in the landscape. Alfio is the founder of TICKON—the Tranekær International Center for Art and Nature—which is located just a few steps from the Tranekaer Center and has put Langeland on the international art map. In his work, he engages in close dialogue with nature and explores the relationship between humans and the landscape, with a focus on the environment, climate, and ecology.

While you're visiting the exhibition, we also recommend taking a stroll through TICKON Park, where you can see several of Alfio Bonanno's works set in a natural setting.

Adam Mads Heindorf

The Modern Alchemist

Goldsmith Adam Mads Heindorf (b. 1985) creates soul jewelry that goes beyond the ordinary. These personal pieces of jewelry also serve as tools for personal growth. Through meditation, Adam Mads acts as a channel for spiritual energy and conveys healing symbols that support the wearer on their life’s journey.

Inge Delfs'

Painter

Inge Delfs is a visual artist with an expressive style that places the human figure at the center. She works with portraits, nude studies, and people in landscapes, seeking to capture what people convey without words. For Inge, art and the human condition are one and the same. Her works spring from what she observes and experiences—joy and pain—and are created as a living process that embraces playfulness, deep immersion, and passion.

Arne Johnsen

, a sculptor from Arne Johnsen, works with granite at the intersection of sculpture and function. After 40 years in the social sector, his many years of experience with people have found a new form in his work with natural materials. For Arne, stone possesses an inherent expressiveness. He carves and polishes with respect for what the material already possesses, allowing its texture, color, and weight to take center stage in the process. Since childhood, he has worked with natural materials such as stone, wood, leather, and metal, often in combination. His works unite the raw and the refined and take the form of both sculptures and functional objects—such as lamps, bowls, and trays.

Stine Læntver

Ceramic Artist

Stine Læntver is a ceramic artist who works primarily in the field of sculpture. She studied sculpture and painting at the Aarhus Academy of Fine Arts and has focused primarily on ceramic art since 2001.

Nature is a central source of inspiration in her work. The balance between living organisms, life and death, as well as nature’s forms, colors, patterns, and structures, find their way into her sculptures.

Her works emerge through an exploratory process involving clay, firing, and layers of glaze. Through intuitive and experimental methods, she explores the material’s possibilities and seeks to challenge both the limits of clay and her own.

Artist Talk
Morten Ramsland

4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

On the opening day, we invite you to a conversation with Morten Ramsland. In conversation with Louise Eltved Krogsgård, former director of the Brønderslev Writers’ School and board member of Ordkraft, he will discuss his work as both a writer and a visual artist and offer insights into the differences and connections between literature and painting. Together, we’ll venture into a fantastical and grotesque universe where humor, darkness, and a passion for storytelling go hand in hand—both in his books and on the canvas.

Most of the artists will be present at the opening to share their thoughts and the inspiration behind their works.
We look forward to welcoming you to a day filled with art and creativity.

Warm regards
Mille, Trine, Adam and Anette

Artists' Open House

In addition, you can also explore the island’s art scene on both Saturday and Sunday—from the northern tip all the way to the southern tip. “Artists’ Open Doors” invites you into local studios and workshops, where you can meet painters, ceramicists, sculptors, and other artists in their natural surroundings. A sensory way to experience Langeland’s creative spirit.

So we highly recommend turning it into a weekend of art.
