ART During Easter
Easter is celebrated through art at “ Sukkerfabrikken ” in Tranekær on Langeland.
In collaboration with Gallerie Rasmus, we invite you to an exclusive art experience, where selected artists from the gallery are presented alongside Inge Delfs, Arne Johnsen, a specially chosen ceramicist, and goldsmith Adam Mads Heindorf.
Here, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and soul jewellery come together in a vibrant whole – raw stones, fine details, form, colour, and deep immersion. A day where art can be experienced up close, and where conversations are allowed to emerge between works and people.

The event also celebrates Trine's 65th birthday. Trine has been an anchor here at the center for the past 21 years, where she started by planting a seed that blossomed... And now continues to grow as a family project. We celebrate this by inviting you to an Open House!

CONCERT - In September's Footsteps
The band “I septembers spor” performs pop-poetic songs written by the island singers Trine Lund Sørensen and Stine Arbo. The band’s debut album, *Flydende*, set for release in May 2024, is a sonic-poetic exploration of life on an island and of the things close to home. The songs are born from a loving gaze at the blooming pear tree in the garden, at the half-grown children setting out on their own paths in life, and at the rolling sea of the South Funen islands. They reflect the moods that arise when the sounds of the island and the sea become an echo of the mind’s dreams and longings. The lyrics revolve around beating hearts and luminous islands of sunshine and melancholy that emerge in the free fall of everyday life. They are about weathering the winter and blossoming, about cries to the heavens, sighs of the heart, and about one’s hometown.
