Relational Fluidity

Grow Up Retreat

Freedom and Secure Relating

Li Tadaa & Marcos Bina
with Adam Mads Heindorf
For facilitators, coaches, therapists & others who wish to dive deep

We invite you to a 4-day retreat where we explore relationships rooted in conscious love. Relationships that can withstand the challenges of change, and where we choose love, even when it's difficult.

What is Relational Fluidity?

Relational fluidity is less about a new identity and more about accepting a fundamental condition of relationships: We change, and relationships change.

Relational Fluidity = Freedom & Secure Relating

Relational fluidity is the capacity to be fully ourselves in relationships, while keeping our hearts open when things change.

It means being able to meet different phases: closeness, distance, shifts in roles or form, without losing yourself, while remaining rooted in care, honesty, and connection.

This can look like deep connection in one phase and more space in another.

It's about building long-lasting relationships, which can take many forms over time: from friendships to lovers, from colleagues to romantic partners, and back to friendship. Or trusting that a relationship can remain healthy even when the romantic aspect ends.

Without both security and fluidity, we can often feel that we have to sacrifice ourselves to maintain the connection. When change occurs, old patterns can take over: we become anxious, cling, or withdraw from contact.

Even when we question traditional structures, we can create new structures with the same rigidity beneath the surface. New agreements that are still driven by control rather than trust.

Fluidity, instead, is driven by trust in life and by love. To be healthy, it needs to be anchored in secure attachment.

Otherwise, it becomes something we live from the head. It can look liberating, while we avoid depth and repeat the same patterns.

We stay close to the body and the nervous system, so that fluidity can grow from something real.

Relational fluidity also allows for multiple deep relationships at the same time, whether they are romantic, sexual, or deep friendships.

Fluidity in our relationships begins with how we relate to ourselves.

Capacity to embrace change

Fluidity requires capacity.

To allow for change, intensity, closeness, or distance, we need to be able to remain present without becoming overwhelmed or shutting down.

We work on increasing our capacity to embrace more of life, sensation, emotions, and relational complexity, while also learning to feel when we need to slow down.

We do this by moving in and out, regulating, and staying in contact as things shift.

As your capacity grows, fluidity becomes something you can live.

Building secure attachment

Security is a practice.

It leads to more relaxed relationships, less drama, and a clearer awareness of our patterns.

We learn to regulate, recognise reactions, and get closer to the root of our needs and how they can be met.

Relationships become less about depending on one person or doing everything alone, and more about allowing different people to support different parts of us.

That is what makes fluidity sustainable.

Who is this for?

This retreat is for you if you believe that healthy relationships in many forms are possible, yet you still find that younger parts of you can take over in crucial moments.

This is mature work in practice, where we offer honest reflections on where you are on your journey, along with important insights and tools to help you move forward.

You know your patterns. You see your parts. Perhaps you even teach others about it. Yet, you need a high level of attunement to take the next step yourself.

This retreat is for coaches, facilitators, and individuals with extensive experience in inner work.

You do not need any prior experience with Grow Up work. If you already have experience with Grow Up, this retreat focuses more on adult relational practice than on attachment wounds.

Whether you are heterosexual, queer, single, in a relationship, in a trio, undefined, or curious, this retreat makes space for your unique relational path, your timing, and your truth.

How we work in practice

To open the somatic framework for deeper work, we need trust and security. We build this through dance, play, and community.

“Trauma fun” is part of the Grow Up approach.

We bring depth and play together so that the work can be honest, embodied, and vibrant. The safer the space, the deeper we can go.

This retreat is part of Lis’s Grow Up approach to emotional, relational, and spiritual maturity.

The foundation is built in the Grow Up Membership Program, GUMP, where retreats offer a deeper immersion over several days.

Growth is an ongoing process. It's something that unfolds over time, rather than happening in a single weekend.

What we explore

  • Intimacy on multiple layers: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and sexual

  • Inner movement between different aspects of yourself

  • Needs and boundaries – communicated with clarity and acceptance

  • The difference between old attachment patterns and a mature presence

  • How relationships can evolve rather than dissolve

We work individually, in pairs, and in smaller groups
with guided exercises, sharing, and embodied experience.

There will be clear frameworks regarding contact, boundaries, and consent.

Dance, play, and movement are a natural part of the process
– allowing development to be vibrant, sensual, and human.

A Living Process

The retreat is shaped in interaction with the group.

A space is created where there is room for both lightness and depth
where silence, movement, and the encounter with others are invited to guide the process.

This retreat is facilitated by people who themselves live what they teach.

An invitation

This retreat is an invitation to grow up in relationships

To stand in yourself while also meeting others
To allow love to develop
To be in contact – even when life is in motion

If you feel a 'yes', you are welcome

This retreat is part of the Grow Up path

Grow Up is a body of work created by Li Tadaa, where therapeutic, somatic, shamanic, and spiritual approaches are woven together – based on what Li herself has lived and practised over many years.

Living from your adult self is about consciousness, not about being perfect. In a world where many still act from old wounds and patterns, it becomes clear how important it is to take responsibility for the development we wish to see around us.

Li sometimes playfully calls it 'trauma fun'. Because the process never stops. It's not about being finished – it's about being in motion and finding joy along the way.

Dance, play, and sexuality are just as important as grief, fear, and inner work. To 'grow up' is about embracing the entire human spectrum. Some only seek the light, others get stuck in the heavy – here, there is space for it all.

Grow Up is also shaped by Li's time in Mozambique, where community and relationships are a natural part of life. From this comes a fundamental understanding: development happens in relation.

The path towards emotional maturity is not about managing it alone. It's about meeting others, reflecting, and creating connection in community.

This work is for you who wish to develop – emotionally, relationally, and sexually – with honesty and responsibility.

No bypass
No pressure
No perfect facade

Instead, you'll find:
Honesty
Presence
Connection

If something within you feels both curious and a little touched as you read this

then you are likely right where the work begins

Curious – and want to feel it first?

If you are curious and would like to feel the energy of the work before you decide, you can watch a recording from a workshop that Marcos and Li previously held together on the theme of Pleasure & Fluidity.

If you fancy a morning dip in the sea, the beach is only 2 km away. The area is characterised by beautiful nature, with the forest starting right at the edge of the garden.
