“Creativity is the scent of individual freedom”

Goldsmiths Mille & Adam Mads Heindorf invite you to a luxurious jewellery course at the Tranekaer Center – a stay offering peace, self-indulgence, and creative immersion. Here, you will design and create your own piece of jewellery as a personal work of art.

The course combines aesthetics, symbolism, and craftsmanship with an intuitive and sensory approach, where you draw inspiration from the nature around you and work with materials, energy, and inner intention. A nurturing community and beautiful surroundings provide the setting for a unique experience, where creation is imbued with soul.

Come and enjoy an inspiring experience at
. Here, it’s all about creative expression with a playful approach through the art of clay. It’s an opportunity to open yourself up to your own spirituality through creativity—and there’s nothing you have to live up to or know how to do beforehand.

Nature is Art
We’ll be visiting TICKON Park around the castle—the Tranekær International Center for Art and Nature. Join us for an inspiring walk in silence, where we’ll connect with nature and open ourselves up to be inspired by nature’s elements, forms, and vibrations. The park is full of untamed nature, rare trees, and sculptures made from natural materials of a high international standard.

Inspiration
You are welcome to bring drawings and ideas for your jewellery. At the same time, we encourage you to come with an open mind, allowing the creative process to work and guide you where you need to go. We focus on being present in the moment, using our senses, and following impulses to inspire the design of personal jewellery.

Meditation and Visualization
We’ll be working creatively through meditation and visualization. This serves as a tool for bringing forth symbolic images that can be used in jewelry design. When you’re being creative, you naturally enter a meditative state where there’s far greater freedom to move. In creativity, you can allow yourself anything. Art serves as a guide, always one step ahead into the future. Creativity means to create. The creative space is the ego-less space where you can let go of your thoughts and follow your intuition. It could also be a relief or a small sculpture that you choose to make. You’ll have complete freedom to express yourself within the craft of goldsmithing.

Materials
You’ll have the opportunity to work with both gold and silver. Nature’s precious metals contain a powerful energy. Just like the stones we work with—whether it’s a rare gemstone, a crystal, or a raw natural stone from the forest. They all have different vibrations that affect the wearer. Each one is a resource from nature with which we can connect.

The Process
When we work creatively, many different emotions can arise. These can include challenges, feelings of relief, self-reproach, expectations, joy, frustration, elation, impatience, excitement, hopelessness, and all sorts of other things. This is an important part of the process… which also provides an opportunity to reflect on what’s happening inside us and how we handle our emotions. It’s a chance to become even more aware of ourselves and our reaction patterns.

So while we’re taking a jewelry-making class and having a good time, we’re also working on energy, the creative process, and personal development. It goes deeper and has a greater impact than many people might initially think. And the process continues to work within all of us for quite some time after the class is over.

Movement

There will also be an opportunity to move your body with space for play for those who wish. Dance activates us internally. It opens our heart chakra and can be a fantastic inspiration for allowing the creative part of ourselves to unfold.

Special Considerations

If you have specific physical limitations—such as difficulty sitting on the floor, participating in yoga, dance, or other activities due to your physical condition—you are still very welcome.

Just let us know—the instructor will help tailor the activities so that you have a rewarding and enriching experience no matter what. The most important thing is that you listen to your body and take good care of yourself.

Materials
We have gold, silver, and gemstones in stock for you to work with. Materials are calculated individually, depending on your design and whether you wish to work with silver or gold. Prices for silver start from approximately 300 kroner and will be settled on the last day.
Furthermore, there will be ample opportunity to find natural materials for your jewellery as we explore the forest.

You’re also welcome to bring your own materials, such as stones or old gold/silver, to the class. We’ll be working with simple melting and casting techniques, where the metal can be transformed into, for example, spheres or beautiful, organic shapes by pouring the molten metal into water. This gives you the chance to create a unique piece of jewelry with a personal story and new energy.

Experience
You don’t need any experience to take this course—neither in jewelry making nor in spirituality. The course is open to anyone who’s interested, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced jewelry maker. The instruction and designs will be tailored to your skill level, and our experienced instructors will make sure you have the opportunity to go home with at least one finished piece of jewelry.

Even as a beginner, you'll be able to make, for example: pendants, earrings, stud earrings, rings, brooches, or a small sculpture.

Stone Framing
You can easily create simple frames using raw stones and natural materials—either by wrapping them with string to hold the materials in place or by gluing them together. The instructors will guide you through the process depending on your design.

Setting Faceted Gemstones:
- If you have experience setting faceted gemstones and are fairly self-sufficient, you’ll be able to work on various setting techniques during the course—such as prong settings, claw settings, and tube settings.
- If you don’t have experience with these types of settings, you’ll need to take a separate setting course to learn the basic techniques for that part.
- Alternatively, the goldsmith can easily help you set gemstones after the course, if you’d like. Gemstones are something that can always be added later.
