Susanne Katarina is the amazing soul behind the profound, heartfelt encounters we’re lucky to have at the KÆRLIG Festival. Susanne Katarina’s life story is a journey filled with soul, exciting encounters, and transformation.

Since childhood, she has been on a lifelong journey. From an early age, she began meditating and searching for something deeper and more fulfilling. Her journey has taken her to many places and led to many encounters, and she has not shied away from life’s challenges. On the contrary, they have shaped her into the strong woman she is today.

Susanne’s journey has brought her into contact with inspiring people such as Marshall Rosenberg, whose teachings on Nonviolent Communication have had a profound influence on her. She has also crossed paths with monks, shamans, Gypsies, tantrics, and many others, which has enriched her life in countless ways.

Drawing on these life experiences, Susanne now creates tantric events focused on deep, heartfelt connections. Her invitation to you is clear—join us and experience transformation through love and openness. Susanne Katarina opens the door to a unique space where you are more than welcome.

Today, Susanne shares her life in Aarhus with her husband, Jørgen, in a deeply tantric relationship. Together, they’ve created a home where love and openness thrive. They share this special place with two lovable cats, Vincent and Nike, who round out the perfect trio.

WORKSHOPS

Heart-to-Heart Meetings

Come and open your heart as you connect with yourself and other wonderful people.

For a couple of hours, you can safely let go of all control, simply surrender, and be gently guided through exercises involving meditation, movement, and touch—leading and being gently led—as you connect with the sensual and sensory aspects of yourself and others.

Heart Meetings is a space where you are invited to connect with your own heart through encounters with yourself and the other participants.

It is a space where we slow down and, through our hearts, connect with the earth beneath us and the universe above us. Once this connection is established, we treat the other participants—and ourselves—with respect, mindfulness, and love.

It is a space where we practice recognizing when our bodies say YES and when they say NO.
A space where the boundaries we set are respected. It is also a space where healing often occurs through the interactions that take place—an authentic space where participants often say afterward that they have found their way back to themselves.

It’s a slow and gentle space where you’re guided through exercises that help you slow down, tune in, and connect with yourself exactly where you are right now.

Everything about you is welcome; you are welcome just as you are, and you will be met by the other participants—and by yourself—as deeply as you are ready to be.

Every heart meeting is different and is guided by the participants and the energy in the room.

Multi-Hand Tantra Massage

A meditative and loving space for those who wish to immerse themselves in the experience of connecting with themselves and the other participants through tantric massage. The style of tantric massage we use for this session is slow, healing, and meditative.

Participants work in small groups (3–5 people), and massages are performed in rotating shifts.
Susanne will form the groups when you arrive. (If you’re a couple and would like a private island, that can also be arranged.)

Flow is for those who are curious about the flow of life.
It’s for those who dare to challenge themselves and face what lies within, through interactions with the other participants. It’s for those who want to dive into the flow of life with the confidence that whatever happens is meant to be.

It's important that you set your own boundaries and accept when others set theirs.
You need to be comfortable with physical contact from both men and women.

Playfight - with Vilhelm Alfarr

Playfight is a playful and embodied workshop where we explore contact, boundaries, and authentic encounter through gentle combat and physical play. With consent and attunement as cornerstones, you are invited to listen to both your own and others' signals as we explore power, presence, and connection in a safe space. No experience is necessary – only curiosity and a willingness to meet yourself and others with respect and awareness.
