KÆRLIG in Copenhagen
A Taster · Sunday 31 May
Before the festival, we are hosting a smaller KÆRLIG event in Copenhagen.
An afternoon of presence, connection, movement, and human encounters facilitated by Kate Aura, Adam Mads Heindorf, Li Tadaa, Thomas Christian Dehn, and Mads Løvehjerte.
Here you can get a taste of the atmosphere and community of KÆRLIG Festival – or simply come as you are and join in.

What is KÆRLIG?
KÆRLIG is a festival focusing on connection, consciousness, relationships, body, and community.
Here people gather to explore:
presence and authenticity
boundaries and communication
masculine and feminine energy
sensuality and life force
meditation, movement, and breath
play, vulnerability, and human connection
The festival encompasses both deep processes, lightness, laughter, stillness, and celebration.
You choose how much you wish to participate.
Everything is voluntary and done with respect for your own and others' boundaries.
Many come alone.
Many make new friends.
Some come as couples.
Others step into the world of tantra for the first time.
You are welcome exactly as you are.
A typical day at the festival
We start the day with morning practices such as yoga, meditation, breathwork or movement.
Afterwards, the day's workshops and experiences begin.
You are free to choose between different tracks and facilitators throughout the day.
There is space for both:
connection and intensity
stillness and integration
play and movement
reflection and calm
In the evening, we gather for concerts, ceremonies, ecstatic dance or shared experiences under the open sky.
Safety and Consent
Safety is an important part of KÆRLIG.
We actively work with:

respect for boundaries
responsible facilitation
You always choose your own boundaries and pace.
There is space for curiosity, shyness, courage and caution.

Practical information
📅 Date: 22–26 July 2026
📍 Location: Tranekaer Center, Langeland
🛏️ Accommodation: Tent pitch included – rooms and dormitories can be added
🥗 Catering: Vegetarian and satisfying communal meals are included
🎟️ Tickets: 5,700 DKK. Festival passes can be purchased via the website
👥 Target audience: Adults (18+) – both beginners and experienced participants are welcome
🗣️ Language: Danish
You are free to choose between a tent, dormitory, double or single room.
Regardless of how you choose to stay, you will become part of a safe and vibrant community with space for both deep immersion, presence and human connection.
Would you like to volunteer?
As a volunteer, you become part of the community behind the festival.
You help with practical tasks before or during the festival, while also participating in the festival on equal terms with everyone else.
Volunteers receive a festival ticket at half price.

About the Venue
KÆRLIG Festival takes place at Tranekaer Center, amidst nature on Langeland.
Here you will find ancient trees, peaceful paths, inviting communal areas, and historic buildings with plenty of atmosphere.
There is space for both community and solitude.
For conversations around the bonfire and quiet mornings with birdsong.
