Miracle – A Musical Journey into the Spiritual and Sensual

Mirakel is a Danish duo consisting of husband and wife Marte Schau and Mikael Fleron, who together create a unique musical universe they themselves describe as “Spiritual Electro Folk.” With a fusion of Eastern and Western folk music traditions, electronic elements, and spiritual mantras, they invite listeners on a journey where music becomes a portal to inner reflection and community.

Marte and Mikael have been working together for over 25 years, both as musicians and as life partners. Their musical collaboration began under the name Megafon, during which time they released three albums and received two Danish Music Award nominations for their third album, *Triskaidekamani*, in the categories “World Album of the Year” and “World Composer of the Year.”

Today, they continue their creative journey as Mirakel, combining Marte’s powerful and expressive vocals with Mikael’s saxophone, which draws on both Nordic and Eastern influences. Their live performances are known for being engaging and improvisational, inviting the audience to participate through sing-alongs and movement.

Mirakel’s music is not just an auditory experience, but a holistic experience that seeks to open hearts and create connections between people. Their lyrics, primarily in English, convey messages of love, light, and joy, and encourage listeners to choose the path of love.

With a deep love for rituals and rhythms, Mirakel releases a new single every six weeks, always in harmony with the lunar cycle—either on a full moon or a new moon. Their first single, “Light in the Dark,” exemplifies their ability to balance haunting vocals with shimmering instrumentation, inviting the listener to explore the shadows and find the light that nourishes their own creativity.
