The Family at the Center

Sukkerfabrikken is a family-run retreat center in the heart of Langeland. Here, spirituality, creativity, and a sustainable way of life come together in a scenic setting. We live close to nature and to one another, creating the perfect setting for gatherings, reflection, and heartwarming experiences.

TrineMor – the center’s vibrant heart

Trine founded the center in 2005. She lives permanently at Sukkerfabrikken and manages the day-to-day operations with her heart on her sleeve. She is the center’s hostess and a unifying force, and she has a great passion for cooking, organic ingredients, and simple, flavorful meals. Trine has dedicated her life to ecology, nature, human development, and a mindful way of life. She has previously run an organic farm, worked on nature restoration, wind turbine projects, and residential facilities for children and youth. She serves as both a hands-on leader and a source of spiritual inspiration for many who visit. The experience Trine brings with her shapes the atmosphere at Sukkerfabrikken: down-to-earth, profound, and full of care.

Mille – the creative force in everyday life

Their daughter, Mille, lives in Tranekær and works as both a goldsmith and a social educator. In her day-to-day work, she contributes to everything from practical tasks and maintenance to collaborating with artisans, purchasing supplies, and developing new initiatives. Mille has a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to make things work—all while creating jewelry and fostering a sense of presence and human connection. She approaches people with calmness and curiosity and helps create the sense of presence that is the foundation of “ Sukkerfabrikken .”

Adam – Visionary and Creative Force

His son Adam lives and works part-time in Copenhagen as a goldsmith and otherwise spends as much time as possible on Langeland, where he founded the Adamas Center, the spiritual wing of the center. He contributes to everything from marketing and finance to development, events, and the center’s energetic direction. Adam brings his many years of experience with soul work, entrepreneurship, and arts and crafts to the center’s development and future. He helps maintain the site’s energetic direction, both practically and spiritually.

Together, we create

As a family, we work together to develop this place into a vibrant center for self-development, mindfulness, and community. We want to create a place where people can take a deep breath, connect with themselves and each other in authenticity and inspiration—and feel at home.

The center is growing organically alongside us—and we look forward to welcoming you, whether you’re coming for peace, inspiration, community, or contemplation.
