About This Retreat
This is a Grow Up Retreat — part of Li Tadaa’s body of work on emotional maturity, intimacy, and adult embodiment.
Grow Up means learning to live from your adult self rather than reacting from unprocessed childhood patterns. It means maturing emotionally, relationally, and sexually — in ways that feel grounded, real, and embodied. At the same time it doesn’t mean that we should always be mature and grounded, but to be aware when we are not and learn to include all our parts and ages.
Uncoupling childhood needs from sexual desires
What if your sexual desires are not always about sex, but about longing for safety, connection, stillness, and belonging?
Many of us unconsciously try to meet childhood needs through adult intimacy. We seek closeness through sexuality, validation through desire, security through attachment. Sometimes it feels blissful, but it doesnt last and do not build long lasting relationships. This can leave us feeling confused, ashamed, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
This retreat is an invitation to separate childhood needs from adult sexuality - not by suppressing desire, but by understanding it more deeply.
So that intimacy can become:
safer
clearer
more grounded
more joyful
more adult
It’s about seeing clearly what has been driving your patterns, so something more authentic can emerge naturally.
Theme
Returning to the Roots of Intimacy
We will explore:
The difference between sexual desire and unmet childhood needs
Attachment wounds (anxious, avoidant, disorganized) in relationships and sex
Why intimacy often becomes charged with fear, shame, withdrawal, or over-attachment
Why sex may feel like the most important aspect of a relationship and explore if there can be other truths
How to build safety, nervous system regulation, and inner stability within us instead of getting through the other.
How sexuality shifts when it comes from the adult self instead of the wounded child
The purpose is not to heal all trauma in one weekend, but to uncouple what is what and learn to attend to the real need, and adult intimacy can become something freer, calmer, and more authentic.
Is This Retreat for You?

What We Will Work With
This is a somatic, experiential retreat, not just theory. The body is central.
Because the body holds the truth long before the mind understands it. Li & Linda a experts ar helping you find and connect to where you hold tension and stuckness and support the allowance of flow.
We work through:
Play and community building
Somatic Experiencing principles
Attachment practices from a body perspective
Constellation-inspired systemic work
Dance, movement & nervous system regulation
Group processes and witnessing
Relational exercises and touch
Deep rest and integration
This is more of a therapeutic retreat than a sexual one, we slow down and meet at the softer deeper levels that are needed for an authentic sexuality. If you are looking nudity and erotic play wait until we build that one for you =)

Ready to GROW UP?
Not in the boring, adulting way.
But in the finally-free-to-love-deeply-and-feel-safe kind of way.
Because it really does start with you.
And we’ve saved you a seat.
This Retreat Is Part of the Grow Up Path
Grow Up is a body of work created by Li Tadaa, weaving together therapeutic, somatic, shamanic and spiritual approaches that Li has lived and practiced personally.
To live from our grown-up self is about awareness, not perfection. In a world where even adults in power often act from wounded child parts, it’s important to do the work ourselves that we want to see in the world.
Li jokingly calls this work "trauma fun", because the journey of growing up never really ends. It’s not about being done, it’s about staying at the edge of your potential and finding joy along the way.
Dance, play, and sexuality are just as vital as grief, fear, and trauma healing. To “Grow Up” means to embody the full human experience. Some people only chase the light, others get stuck in the mud, here we embrace it all.
Rooted in Li’s time living and working in Mozambique, Grow Up is built on the knowing that healing is not an individual journey. We need each other.
The path to emotional maturity is not about fixing yourself alone, but about building relationships and practicing interconnection in community.
This work is for those who are serious about growing emotionally, relationally, and sexually.
No spiritual bypassing.
No forcing
Not perfect
But honest and transparent
If something in you feels both curious and a little exposed reading this —
you’re probably exactly where the work begins.

Testimonials from participants
“Coming into a space that allows for as much vulnerability and openness as here, and at the same time being very grown-up, has helped my healing tremendously. The grounding, the frank addressing of all aspects presented, as well as the acknowledgment of it being a journey, was great.”
/Johanna“I feel safe and seen. The mixture of dance and process work was really special. I liked how Li and Lotta were playing off of each other. Also, as an SE practitioner, I was inspired—there is always more to learn. I loved it and loved the team, thanks.”
/Misha“Dear Li and Lotta, you have helped me this precious weekend to better identify when my responses or reactions come from a young or immature part of me, and then helped me to be the adult for myself. What I appreciate is the feeling I have that you really want to help me grow up and continue with my life. You seem to want me to heal, not only to sell me another retreat. Thank you for your authenticity and loving presence. I feel that you care and leave it to me to carry myself. Hope to see you again soon.”
/Arild“Thank you, I leave the retreat having been truly challenged, but not more than I could bear. I love how the work is physical and how we were helped to ground ourselves individually and as a group. So nice that the team was so big—it makes for a safe and evolving space.”
/M“What I bring with me are all the beautiful and personal meetings with fantastic people. I feel filled with love after this weekend. I bring with me many tools that I feel I can use to understand myself better.”
/Fredrik“I appreciate the secure setting of the workshop, which allowed me to let all my emotions show. I love the mix of deep exercises and joyful dance.”
/Navid
“Li’s work has helped me find so much more balance in my life, and I am now navigating more smoothly between the needs for connection and love and the need for my own space. During retreats like this one, I also realize that I am only living out of 30% of my capacity in my everyday life. Here, I connect fully with strangers after just a few hours. It’s amazing to explore new beings and myself through play, dance, sharing, and exercises. Thank you.”
/Charlotte“It is a great gift to yourself to practice being a real adult, grown-up person if you feel like you have been pretending your whole life. Recommended to most people who have grown up in Western cultures.”
/S
“In the spaces that Li facilitates, I always feel welcome to express, learn, explore, and try new things—all in a safe, contained environment. I’m always amazed by how, by the end of a workshop, a bunch of strangers becomes so open to each other.”
/Anna
